Where Good Baking Has a History
At Mill Creek Bakery, we believe that great baking starts with good ingredients, time-tested recipes, skilled hands, and a genuine love of what you do.
We’re proud to be part of the Kelowna community, bringing together three Okanagan bakery traditions to create something of our own.
Mill Creek Bakery was born from the coming together of two Kelowna traditions, Bread on Wheels Bakery and Royal Bakery, as well as Vernon’s Sweet Caroline’s Bakery. Altogether, we have over 60 years’ experience providing delicious baked goods that our customers are happy to take home and share.
A Tradition of Great Fresh Bread
Mill Creek Bakery has over 100 types of breads and buns, ranging from Artisan breads handmade by our experienced bakers, long-fermented sourdough breads with flavours developed over the days-long process, and commercial loaves created for high-volume food service businesses.
Our breads and buns are made using time-honoured techniques and quality ingredients, with an emphasis on freshness and flavour.
The Art of Pastry & Cake
Sweet Caroline’s Bakery brought another side of baking to the Mill Creek story. For over 30 years, Sweet Caroline’s has been known for beautifully made cakes, pastries, and desserts that turn ordinary days into celebrations.
That same attention to detail can be found at Mill Creek Bakery, from flaky pastries and pies, to cinnamon buns, squares, cookies and celebration cakes.
Whether you’re picking up something for a birthday, office gathering, or bringing dessert home for dinner, we want it to feel special.
